Production Photos
Everyman is a devised work created by the members of the company detailing the events of the secular play by the same name but in a modern, comedic way.
Set Design
Renderings
A rendering was created to guide the creative process. A challenge was met in the need for the set to be put up and taken down in 10 minutes. All scenic elements were built, painted, and wired by the company members.
Research
Research was found to support five different iterations of the play as it was shaped though the writing process. Even though the piece was a modern comedy, it was decided to be sharply contrasted by a dark askew set akin to a piece of German expressionism due to the productions themes of death and odd scenerios.
Sketches
Before settling on the final designs, various set ideas were thought through each night as the script changed with the values that the production needed.
Graphic DesigN
A poster was made to reflect the scenic elements and story narrative.
Process Pictures
All of the members involved in the acting and story creation were also involved in the set sewing, wiring, and painting.
